Elsie Maeve
Light of the world to everyone who encountered her.
Who is Elsie Maeve?
“She was too perfect for this world”
“Elsie was a beautiful child inside and out with big blueberry eyes, a contagious dimpled smile and laugh that filled all of our hearts. She brought absolute joy to everyone around her.
Elsie loved spending mornings with her mom at the Ashburnham Library’s story time and watching Miss Rachel with her pup “Char.” She loved to dance and sing along to Wheels on the Bus and Old MacDonald.
She enjoyed doing anything outside with her big brother Ryan. Their bond was absolutely unbreakable and always will be”

Reminiscing about Elsie…
“I think about my last moments with Elsie daily. I think about how that day we went to story time at our local library. How we spent time outside because it was finally spring.
My favorite last moment with Elsie was laying with her as she drank her bottle before putting her to bed. We giggled and laughed as she would try to jokingly stick the bottle in my mouth and quickly pull it away. I remember that night thinking about how smart and funny she was and how much I loved her.
And then I kissed her and put her to bed for the last time.”

How Elsie’s drawing impacted the family…
“[Her] picture hangs in my house and I look at it everyday and am so thankful for it. [Her] picture meant so much to me in my early stages of grief and I am forever grateful.”
